Professional Development
Jasmine works closely with teachers and administrators by providing practical and actionable guidance for how to implement anti-racist practices directly into the classroom. Trainings cover topics such as “Creating a Culture of Anti-Racism at School,” “Integrating Anti-Racism Into Your Lesson Plans” and “Responding to Racism in the Classroom.” Sessions can be presented in person, live online, or via pre-recorded video.
Anti-Racist Resources
Jasmine Bradshaw has used her unique experiences as an anti-racist educator, mother, and former teacher to create multiple programs dedicated to giving adults the tools they need to teach kids to be anti-bias, anti-racist and inclusive. By partnering with Jasmine, she can provide staff with training, assistance, and follow-up as they implement any of her programs, including Ally Elementary Jr., Ally Elementary and Ally Jr. High (coming in 2024).
Curriculum Consulting
Work with Jasmine to audit your curriculum and adapt it to be more equitable and anti-racist. This can include helping teachers integrate decolonized history and inclusive perspectives into all subjects, compiling historical information to help provide needed context, building vocabulary and language to help with discussing difficult topics, guiding teachers to anticipate questions, and teaching educators how to perform an audit of their own lesson plans to make them more equitable.
Speaking
Invite Jasmine to present at your next conference or PTA meeting to help parents/community members know how to support the work at school by implementing anti-racism at home. Workshop topics include “The Powerful Connection Between Belonging and Behavior,” “Why Our Children Need Honest History,” “Where Did Race Come From and How Do I Talk to Children About It?” and “Everyday Anti-Racism.”
