10 Indigenous accounts you should follow on Instagram
Listening to Indigenous voices is an important part of honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day. But an even better thing to do is listen to Indigenous Peoples all the time, and one of the ways you can do that is by diversifying your Instagram feed to include Indigenous organizations and creators.

• Jalynne Geddes @nehiyanahk: Jalynne is a dear friend of mine and is Nehiyaw from the Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation. She shares her work as an activist both through words and beadwork.
• Jana Schmieding @janaunplgd: Jana is Lakota and an actor, comedian and writer. She is known for her work on “Rutherford Falls” and “Rez Dogs.”
• Stacie Denetsosie-Mitchell @navajodarling: Stacie is Dine and shares her experience through social media (often with a touch of humor) and through writing.
• The Indigenous Foundation @theindigenousfoundation: Every month is Indigenous History Month with The Indigenous Foundation, ”a collective of Indigenous/POC women, 2S (two-spirit), and Non-Binary folk focused on bringing awareness to Indigenous groups and rights.”
